PORT EWEN, N.Y. >> The Esopus Democratic Committee and Indivisible Ulster will co-sponsor two meetings to give voters the opportunity to question the six candidates seeking the Democratic nomination in the 19th Congressional District election.

Each candidate will have 30 minutes to speak about themselves and answer questions from the audience. The meetings will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 11 and on Jan. 18, both in the Esopus Town Hall Community Room, 284 Broadway.

The schedule for both meetings will include an introduction and collection of audience questions from 7 to 7:15 p.m., followed by half-hour blocks of time for each of three candidates. From 8:45 to 9 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to sign up with the candidate campaigns.

The candidates will be Patrick Ryan, followed by Brian Flynn and Jeff Beals on Jan. 11, and Antonio Delgado, followed by David Clegg and Gareth Rhodes on Jan. 18.

The Democratic nominee would seek the seat held by U.S. Rep. John Faso, R-Kinderhook.
