A grassroots organization that has been advocating for peace and justice for 15 years. A weekly peace vigil, in front of Elting Memorial Library, 93 Main St, New Paltz every Saturday, 12:45-1:30 pm, has been the group’s primary function since November of 2001. All people are welcome to join us. In addition to calling for an end to war and militarism, the group has also worked to protect the environment, for clean elections, Medicare for all, and to close the growing wealth/income gap that is so corrosive to democracy.
